The Mad Ripple : Biography
The Mad Ripple is the nom de guerre of longtime Minneapolis writer and music lover Jim Walsh (Laughing Stock, REMs, Two Tornados). Returning to Minneapolis, Walsh reconnected with old friends forming a recording-collective of rock and americana royalty including members of Son Volt, the Jayhawks, the Gleam, and many more. This record is a statement of hope, family, truth, and irony.
"I'm very proud of the record," said The Mad Ripple. "I had to learn how to play the guitar and find my singing voice again and I'm happy I did. I also wanted to represent Minneapolis-St. Paul and the players on the record as best I could.
